Christensen 10-year Anniversary

Christensen 10-year Anniversary

I had the extreme pleasure of photographing the Christensen Family on their 10 year anniversary. To mark the occasion, we re-created some of their favourite wedding pictures. This was a tremendously fun photo-project to work on and I’m so grateful for the opportunity! Plus I was just super excited to ride in the sleigh with the draft horses! 😉

Christmas Minis

Christmas Minis

What do you do when you find an old sleigh that you used to ride in as a child behind a snowmobile? You create a magical Christmas mini set to take Christmas photos with! Add in a cute bench and a fire pit to keep cozy warm and roast some marshmallows on (who said s’mores are just for summer?!) and you have the nicest rustic scene ever, especially when it FINALLY snows… And if anyone ever asks you to take…

Emily & Greg

Emily & Greg

I had the pleasure of going to this young couples farm for some family pictures after Greg’s older sister took pictures at my sunflower field. I’ve known the family for a long time so I was so grateful to be able to take both siblings pictures! We had a great time (even if it was a chilly October day) and I love how these pictures turned out!

Sunflower daze

Sunflower daze

This year I decided to try and grow a sunflower garden to use as a photo backdrop. After purchasing around 20 packs of seeds and planting them (thanks for the help on Mother’s day mom) and growing my little garden, I was fairly happy with the results! Some of the photoshoots I did were adorable! I harvested many of the seeds that the heads produced and hope to grow an even larger garden next year! And yes, we live in…

Larsen Family

Larsen Family

The Larsen family lives and ranches just North of my parents farm. They are a traditional farming family who still works cattle with horses and have many times offered for me to attend branding to take pictures (something I have yet to be able to do due to time conflicts) but I was so happy to be able to take their family photos… and hopefully I will make it out to next Spring’s branding!

Kimberley + Wyatt

Kimberley + Wyatt

I was contacted by a couple through Facebook asking if I would be able to take some last minute pictures for them to turn into Christmas Cards. Absolutely I could! I LOVE photoshoots incase you didn’t know! This couple has been together for a few years and although they’ve taken family pictures with each other’s families, they had never taken a couples photoshoot. Plus their pup, Lou, is a newer addition to their family so obviously they needed family photos! …

Amanda Boudoir

Amanda Boudoir

One of my lovely friends, Amanda, nervously asked me if I had ever done a boudoir photoshoot and if I would do one with her, I nervously responded that I hadn’t done one before, but that I would… I had absolutely nothing to worry about! Other than the fact that it was -15C (-22C with the windchill – and poor Amanda was freezing) we had the most AMAZING time. Seriously guys, this photoshoot was so much fun! I was a…

Tyler + Camie

One of my fellow reporters, our amazing sports reporter Tyler, is getting married! YAY! CONGRATULATIONS! So Tyler, being the witty guy that he is asks me “Do you happen to know of any good photographers?” Ummmmm, Moi, Obviously!  I had never had the pleasure of meeting Camie before their engagement session during a chilly day in Fish Creek Park, however I was so excited to take their engagement photos, and even more excited that their love was nearly palpable so…

Langevin

While photographing the Nelson’s family pictures on a beautiful sunny day, I was also asked to take some photographs of Norman’s brother and his wife, who were out visiting. They watched as the Nelson’s got their pictures taken and thought it looked like fun so they asked if I had time. Anyone who knows me knows how excited I get over photoshoots, so I was beyond thrilled when they asked and I got to do two photoshoots in one day!…

Nelson Family

Nelson Family

My best friend and her sister were kind enough to ask me to take some updated family photos of them, that they gave to their mom as a mother’s day present. The last time I took their photos was in the dead of winter when it was -25C, so I think we were all grateful when we were able to soak up some sunshine during this photoshoot! Plus the sunflowers had just started blooming, so it was absolutely beautiful out…
